Cavan Music launched in 2002 and has gathered local, national and international traditional Irish musicians, dancers, and artists to organize concerts, street performance, street festivals, local community entertainment and music competitions.

Many young tallented musicians have been inspired to take up learning to play traditional instruments, sings songs and tell witty stories, after seeing the great talent display by older performers.

 

Our aim is to preserve and carry into the future the great works of art that have been accumulated through the ages, and keep a record of the original work of young performers.
